Sim, tenho que admitir que sou incrivelmente sortuda. É verdade que já participei em alguns giveaways... mas também já tive a sorte de vencer vários - e este foi, sem dúvida, um dos que me deu mais prazer ganhar!
O giveaway foi lançado no inspirador blog paper n stitch e oferecia nada mais nada menos do que a possibilidade de vencer uma série de sewn prints da autoria de Clare Elsaesser.
A Clare tem uma loja no etsy que eu já havia adicionado aos favoritos há muito! Tastes Orangey apresenta trabalhos originais e reproduções saídas das mãos de Clare - são personagens que me hipnotizaram desde que as conheci: que se fecham, que se escondem e que fogem da ribalta para ambientes intimistas e introspectivos, representadas com cores densas e gestos expressivos, embora contidos.
Gostei dos trabalhos de Clare no momento em que os vi e mal pude acreditar que agora teria a oportunidade de escolher dois deles!
As sewn prints são uma série de reproduções delicadamente impressas e posteriormente cosidas a um suporte em papel texturado que lhes dá uma presença em relevo muito original. Escolhi duas imagens que acho que se complementam e que irão dotar de magia a parede da minha sala de jantar, mal tenha oportunidade de as emoldurar!

Clare has an etsy shop that I had long ago added to my favorites! Tastes Orangey presents original works and prints created by the hands of Clare - she gives life to characters that mesmerized me from the beginning: they hide themselves and escape from the spotlight into intimate and introspective ambiences, represented with dense colors and expressive, even though contained, gestures.
I loved Clare's works at the moment I saw them and I couldn't believe I would now have the opportunity to pick two of my choice!
The sewn prints are a series delicately printed and then sewn into a textured paper which gives them a very unique presence in relief. I chose two images that I think that complement each other and will surely provide magic to the wall of my dining room, as soon as I have the opportunity to frame them!
