Around here I'm preparing something new... 

To see these and many other new creations live, visit me over next weekend, in another edition of Serralves em Festa!

Vamos recolhendo imagens na nossa mente que acabam por consciente ou inconscientemente nos inspirar no que fazemos.

Nem sempre sei o que surge primeiro: se o conceito, se a forma; se a ideia ou o traço... mas uma coisa é certa: cada colecção transporta consigo um ambiente que se mistura e ao mesmo tempo se reflecte na identidade de quem a usa, no momento em que a usa - por isso nos identificamos mais com certas peças e linhas, por isso as escolhemos para usar neste dia ou ocasião especial e não noutro qualquer.

Estou a gostar de criar estes moodboards. Nascem daquilo que me inspira, do que me rodeia, da peça criada ou do trabalho em progresso, das ferramentas usadas para a fazer nascer. Transmitem intenções, paletas de cores, contextualizam e dão largas à imaginação, estabelecem relações mais ou menos inesperadas e contribuem para o processo criativo.

Por outras palavras: é bem provável que passem a ser regulares aqui no blog!

We keep collecting images in our mind that ultimately, consciously or unconsciously, inspire us in what we do. 

I don't always know what comes first: the concept, the shape, the idea or the sketch... but one thing is certain: each collection carries with it an atmosphere that blends with and is reflected in the identity of the user, when it's used - that's why we identify ourselves more with certain pieces and lines, why we chose to use them this day or special occasion and not in any other. 

I'm enjoying creating these moodboards. They're born of what inspires me, what surrounds me, the finished jewel or the work in progress, of the tools used to create it. They convey intentions, color palettes, contextualize and give free reign to the imagination, provide more or less unexpected relations and contribute to the creative process. 

In other words: they'll likely become regulars here on the blog!
